Do you give free estimates?
Fine Remodel does not charge for your initial visit. For greater detail refer to our “What to Expect” page. When we meet with you we give you a rough budgetary number. We call this number rough because Fine remodel customizes each estimate to the client’s wants and needs. We feel that each project should be based on individual clients priorities.
Will I get the best price with Fine Remodel?
Our focus is on helping our clients get the best value, not necessarily the lowest price. As we learn priorities, our recommendations regarding trade professionals, materials, and methods help our clients and their designers realize the highest satisfaction for their budget.
What is a Preconstruction agreement?
Simply put, we have you sign an agreement stating that you will compensate us for the time involved in designing your project. This includes finding an architect, estimates, schedules, material recommendations and more.
Can I get a square foot price?
We custom-design each project to your individual needs, wants and desires. Since no two projects are the same, we do not give square foot pricing.
How long does a typical renovation take?
For starters, there is no such thing as a typical renovation. That’s because many factors determine the time to complete a given project. However, we plan each stage and phase so that construction is always as short as possible.
Can I make changes during the construction phase of the renovation?
All decisions are made during the pre-construction process. This intensive phase is to finalize the concept of the project before it commences. If any change orders occur they are usually additional work to projects after experiencing Fine Remodel’s work ethic and quality. If there happened to be a need for a change we would start with a signed agreement before work is done.
Who do I contact if I have concerns or questions during my remodel?
You will have a Site Supervisor assigned to your project. He will be in contact with you on a daily basis. If a question or concern arises our office is always available to answer questions or assist you in every phase of your renovation. We like to say that if we don’t know, we will find out for you.
What is Guild Quality?
Guild Quality is a third-party survey company. They contact clients after their remodel is completed to find their level of satisfaction and also help us find ways we can improve. If you would like to see our survey results, please click the link here.
